“Hi, just thought I would drop you a quick note to thank Heart of Glass for yet another stunning performance at Butlins on Sunday night. Every time we see you our jaws drop! We have now seen you three times at Butlins and we are always left amazed after your performance and can’t wait to see you again!”

Stefan Judd & Debbie Lake, 9/10/07

“What a band. This is the third time we have seen them now and they just get better. They should be headlining and not be a support act. Of all the groups that appeared at Butlins 80s Weekend, Heart Of Glass was the best act by far. Please give our best regards to them all for the great performance they put on, and we are looking forward to seeing them again soon. My own personal wish is for a very special birthday present with a personal performance from Heart Of Glass. Our warmest regards to all the band.”

Angela & Paul Gilliver, Newhall, Derbyshire, 26/2/07

“Thanks so much for Saturday night - I absolutely loved it, and all my guests have said that you were marvellous. I was very impressed with all the changes of outfit!! My feet were killing me by the end of the evening, as I didn’t leave the dance floor all night I hardly ate or drank a thing - at least I wasn’t hung over!! Thanks again for helping to make my night so special. Regards.”

Emma Pioli, Birmingham, 4/2/07

“Hey. Just found out you had a web site so I had to get in touch. Seen you guys 4 times and every time we have a ball! Great gig last night at the Beachcomber, up close and personal. Can’t wait for New Years Eve. Keep it real. Keep it live.”

Neil James, 29/10/06

“Hi folks, saw you at Butlins in Skeggy recently and just wanted to say you were amazing. You and the Queen tribute
made the weekend for the stag do I was with. Cheers.”

Dave Brown, 5/3/06

“Thanks for a great night out at The Chestnuts last night (30/12/05). This was the second time we have seen you there and we look forward to the next time.”

Roger and Alison, Birmingham, 31/12/05

“Just thought I would say thank you for a great performance at the Birdwell Club last night. There were only a few there but I for one had a great time. I’ve been to see a few tribute bands at this venue over the last 12 months but you were by far the best. Cheers”

Adrian Mapplebeck, Barnsley, 5/12/05

“Thank you for a fantastic night at MCN Skegness, we put you down as the best band of the event - fantastic! Really enjoyed your performance - Denise, very sexy bit of stuff and guess what? Just found out you were Little Miss Dynamite!! Great, really worthwhile and I thought the least I could do is tell you how much my friends and I enjoyed being back in the ‘80’s. Lots of love to Denise, handshakes to the boys!!!!!”

Jo Ackroyd, 13/10/05

“Hi Everyone. Just wanted to say had the usual fab night watching you at Murrays in Scarbro on Friday night. I’ve seen you loads of times now and I really do love your sound (maybe Blondie should reinvest in a Farfisa!) and Denise’s vocals really are spot on. A few of my mates had been there that hadn’t seen you before and they are definitely gonna go see you again. Was great catching up with you as always and thanx for the t-shirt Denise! I’m really in the mood for the Blondie November gigs now....thanx! Look forward to seeing you again”

Sarah Burke, Scarborough, 27/09/05

“Now then Heart of Glass. Having not seen you for a good few weeks, I just wanted to let you know that at Winterton last night you were BLOODY BRILLIANT, as always a fantastic show. For me it was an awesome Blondie performance that gave me the spark and re-lit the fire in my soul.

“In the flesh” was the best I have ever heard, it had soul, it had guts it was special. The jam at the end of “Sunday Girl” was really really brilliant. I know I can get too focused these days after seeing the band for over 4 years, but every time I see you guys you always pull something out of the bag that is either brilliant or very special and I feel you have to be told. In the second half you all played with so much confidence that the jam in “Dreaming” just begged for respect - it was cool. The BIG sound achieved at the gig allowed me to hear every one of you perform - lucky me...! Big Up the HOG!”

Regards Hamish and Family, Chesterfield, 25/09/05

"Hi everyone, had to send an email to let you all know that I came from DUNDEE on the 29th January 2005 to see you in KIRKCALDY. It was a brilliant night. Denise looked, acted and really sounded like BLONDIE, the band was really good as well. I really hope you will come back up to SCOTLAND again soon as I have told a lot of my friends about you, and they are all wanting to come and see you. It would be really good if you could come to DUNDEE. THANKX 4 A GR8 NITE."

Fiona (AKA 'Cheeky'), Dundee, 25/2/05

"Hi there. Just had to write and say what a fantastic night we had on Saturday (The Nuts, Birmingham). We drove up from Cheltenham specially to see you and it was worth the trip! PLEASE try and come back down Swindon/Cheltenham way at some point. You're a class act!"

Nicola Griffiths, Cheltenham, 15/2/05

"Hi James. Thought I would drop you a quick email to say thanks to both yourself and the rest of Heart of Glass for the stunning performance at the New Roscoe in Leeds. I was the one that bugged you after the gig and asked if I could look at your vintage synths and setup etc. Thanks for being so patient and putting up with a slightly drunk me. Anyway, thanks again for a great night out and I will be looking out for you when you're next in/around Leeds."

Phil, Leeds, 6/2/05

"Dear Denise, James, Joe, John and Pete. I just wanted to say thanks very much for what is now the BEST EVER GIG I have witnessed by Heart of Glass (Winterton Rangers, 23/10/04). Everything was absolutely spot on and I just wanted to say to you guys please don't ever forget how good you are and the good vibes you ship out to your audience.I went home last night on top of the world. The gig was superb. The sound was HUGE, the band is so tight that every song was performed to the absolute Blondie best and done ever so effortlessly. You gelled together to give respect not only to Blondie but to yourselves - FANTASTIC. 'Get It On' linked in at the end was very clever and what about the almost Grunge/Heavy Metal intro to 'Rip her To Shreds' right at the end of the show - SUPERB! You guys are the tops and you should be very proud of yourselves - I know I am, and I feel fortunate to witness such superb gigs time after time - Respect to Heart Of Glass. Best regards."

Hamish, Chesterfield, 24/10/04

"Hi Gang. It's Warren from Junebug from Friday's gig at the Hotel California. Just a quick email to let you know that your show was brilliant on Friday (22/10/04). I'm a fan of Blondie and was made up to be playing with a Blondie tribute. I never thought that you guys were going to be as good as that though. I was blown away, it was like seeing and listening to the real deal. A truly great show and one I'll hopefully get to see again. Special thanks to Jo for the use of your kit, it has a lovely sound, only hope I haven't damaged any skins! Lovely playing Jo, especially the little drum solo. I left feeling inspired to work out a solo in our set, though I don't think Guy and Ralph would appreciate it being guitarists! Anyway, all take it easy."

Warren, Birkenhead, 24/10/04

"I just had to write with my appreciation on what I can only describe as an AMAZING "BLONDIE" gig (at Fantasy Island, Skegness, on Saturday 4th September). I have followed the original band since June of 1976 and never looked back. Your band is so close to the original band I had to rub my eyes in AMAZEMENT. Even Denise's movements and facial expressions where so "DEBBIE HARRY" SHE JUST WAS HER! Keep Rocking as only BLONDIE can."

Sean (A Fan), 7/9/04

"Great gig at Molly's, Northampton, as brilliant as always. You lot seem to get better with every gig."

Jeff Powles, Coventry, 22/8/04

"I saw you at the Big Day Out, Chartdale Club, Cleethorpes and would just like to say again that I really enjoyed your gig. I spoke to Denise Danielle after the gig and thought it was very nice of her to take time to speak to me. I was glad you played 'One Way Or Another' this year as I hear you didn't get to play it last year due to not being able to play a full set and I hope you will play it again, as I look forward to seeing you next on 25th September at The Beachcomber, Cleethorpes and other upcoming dates. xx"

Claire Larsen, Cleethorpes, 2/8/04

"Hi. Saw you at the Diamond on Saturday 24 July 2004 and I must say you are one of the best tribute bands I have seen and I have seen a lot of tributes. But damn girl, you and the boys are the best! Best of luck for the future and please come back soon"

Terry and Marie Elston, Sutton In Ashfield, 26/7/04

"Dear Heart of Glass Band members, I saw you play the Springhead (Hull - 24/6/04) last Thursday and you were superb. I missed some of the England game so as not to miss the band. I shall be returning to the Springhead when you return there in October. Thanks for a great night (apart from the football result)!"

John Foston, Hull, 1/7/04

"Hi James. Just a quick note to say thanks very much to you & the band for a fantastic gig.Everyone has commented on your show & said how wonderful it was (I was stuck in the kitchen cooking burgers!!). The day raised £6,500 for Cancer Research so we can put that down as a success! Thanks again and best wishes to the band."

Andy, Stags Head, Goosnargh, Lancs, 18/6/04

"Just to say a great big THANK YOU for Saturday night! Everyone was knocked out with your performance - in fact some locals (unaccustomed to rock & roll) were positively stunned!"

Best wishes from David, Cath and Malc, Deepdale, Lincs, 2/5/04

"Hi from your number one fan in Wragby! You was mega last nite in the Turner Arms. Hope to see you at another gig soon. Keep on rockin. From Stuart Lee, the one you signed the T Shirt for!"

Stuart Lee, Wragby, 12/4/04

"Hi. I saw 'Heart of Glass' for the first time yesterday evening at the Barge Inn, Keadby. I must admit, I was rather expecting a couple of 'tired' old sets performed by equally 'tired' so-so performers. How wrong I was!

Whilst I wouldn't claim to be an expert, I am no stranger to playing in a band live on stage. What I saw at the Barge Inn was an extremely 'tight' and well-rehearsed performance by very talented musicians, fronted by a dynamic and equally talented lead singer who is more like Debbie Harry than Debbie Harry herself!

The whole gig was superb and I just wanted to thank you all, not just for a great night, but also for the many hours you must have spent in rehearsal to make your performance so professional and convincing. That kind of dedication is seldom seen on the circuit and I feel privileged to have witnessed it. I will certainly make a point of seeing you again. You are the Poodle's Noodle's!!!

Bruno Watson, N.lincs, 10/4/04

"Hello Heart of Glass. What a fantastic night at the Roscoe.I was near the back in a white shirt. Your set was just superb. I hadn't heard 'Good Boys' before but what a song - you sung with the X factor! Denise, once again you looked hot in all your outfits ( I saw you at Scarbro in Feb.). Phwoarr!! You guys are one professional outfit! Cheers!"

Russ, Leeds, 2/4/04

"Hi Gang.

WOW - What a night at the Bull Hotel, Horncastle. The audience, me included, witnessed yet another classic Heart of Glass performance. The second half shone with blinding brilliance. The new beginning of 'Hanging On the Telephone' was really something special, when you guys started the intro I was really foxed to think what song you were doing - and then BAM!! Denise belts out the classic line - "I'm in the phonebooth..." and I go right back to 1979 in a second feeling really good about myself!

Some other highlights that I can remember, I really should take a notepad with me so sorry if I miss anybody or any performance out, are - James' duet with Pete with the harmonica on 'Eat To The Beat' just gets better and better. Both intros to 'Hanging On The telephone' and "Denis Denis' were absolutely amazing. 'ATOMIC' just absolutely stole the show except for me 'Detroit 442' is still king. Oh yeah, I nearly forgot, when Denise went backstage to do the first of her costume changes and came out with the tiger skin dress - I swear it WAS DEBBIE HARRY live on stage! Yet again as I have always said, your professionalism as musicians and performers really shone through last night and it showed in the performance, the crowd enjoyed themselves, YOU enjoyed yourselves - You guys are a band not to miss. Needless to say I had a brilliant time last night (re-living my youth). Heart of Glass you guys are the Best. Thanks! PS. Going for a lie down now to get back to 2004!!"
