On Friday 13th December 2002, Heart of Glass performed at the Sky Television Christmas Party in London to about 3,000 people who work at the Channel. The band performed in a purpose built cage in a venue decked out as a gothic-horror film set. Think "American Werewolf in London" or "The Hunger" and you'll get the picture. Amongst a Ghost-train and Carousel , hundreds of extras danced, pranced and scared people, and Jazzy B (Soul 11 Soul) DJ'd. Then in keeping with the theme of the party, Heart of Glass were transformed into Mutant Blondie for their second set! It was very cool! |
